On 25 May 2026, the press conference inaugurating the TAURON Zielone Miasto Przyszłości project took place at Fabryka Porcelany in Katowice, at the COBU Design studio. The initiative brings together business, science, local government and culture around a single goal: to show that the transition to green energy can be communicated not through data sheets, but through lived experience.
“We want to create a space that is engaging, interactive and immersive — one that speaks about ecology through experience, not instruction.”
A city you can touch
At the heart of the project is a nearly 60 m² interactive scale model of a future metropolis. The model illustrates a region running entirely on renewable energy — photovoltaic installations, wind turbines, hydrogen technology and autonomous transport. Visitors can influence the city's operation in real time, observing the direct relationship between energy production, its distribution, and the everyday life of residents.
Grupa Clue — sound and vision for the city of the future
Grupa Clue is responsible for the audiovisual layer of the installation — the systems that make the model not just a visual display but a fully immersive sensory environment. The project draws on the same disciplines that define Grupa Clue's work: professional AV integration, spatial sound design, and the ability to embed technology seamlessly into architectural context. Alongside Grupa Clue, the project's partners include TAURON Polska Energia, Sharp, Bose Professional, InPost, COBU Design, net-o-logy and Fundacja Giesche. The City of Katowice, the Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolis and the Marshal's Office of Silesia Region are also lending their support.
